The bike itinerary that takes us to the slope of Mount Tezio is very similar to the one that allows you to reach the peak, but it is a less demanding route but which still gives the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the west side of the Trasimeno Lake. We will start from the slopes of the mountain on the outskirts of Perugia from where the first climb begins up to Valbiancara area which already shows the first beautiful panorama of the Tiber Valley with Assisi and Monte Subasio in the background, and the Romitorio (our destination) in front of us. Take the west side of Monte Tezio loop which will take us to the natural park access, where we will continue along the slope taking trail 4 which will take us to Belvedere after a short and continuous climb. From here, the benches and the typical Umbrian greenery will offer a short refreshment and the opportunity to enjoy the view, before starting the fun descent on single track that will take us to Romitorio, an ancient monastery of 1200. We will continue downhill. taking another amusing trail downhill through the centuries-old chestnut wood until you exit onto the main road of Monte Tezio loop, just before Migiana del Tezio. From here there are some possibilities: by briefly lengthening you can finish the loop and enjoy the view of Monte Acuto, and then return via the unpaved road along the Tiber Valley, or take one of the downhill trails directly below the village of Migiana.
